Howl Wolves!!
A lot of the national guys still maintain a local gig. Marv Albert still called Knicks games even when he was the primary NBC (later TNT) announcer. Mike Breen does too. He'll be full-time national sooner rather than later. They need to start looking for a replacement.
Anyone but Marney.A lot of the national guys still maintain a local gig. Marv Albert still called Knicks games even when he was the primary NBC (later TNT) announcer. Mike Breen does too.
At the least they'll need more of a part timer though to pick up some slack.
I like Horton. Haven't heard enough of Glenner to have an opinion one way or another.Anyone but Marney.
Alan Horton is great with his radio call. They did a couple of Wolves simulcasts last year and he was very good. He gets my vote.
Benz lost me when he decided he needed to pick up a Ranger Rick magazine and wedge in "interesting" facts about ants every time Edwards made a play.I like Horton. Haven't heard enough of Glenner to have an opinion one way or another.
I couldn't figure out why they let Benz go to begin with, but admittedly Grady was a big step up in hindsight.
