I don't think marking your word is good enough. If you are right you should get the prestigious Mark of the Gopher Hole! A small tattoo of the GH logo behind your left ear. It would be a badge of honor only bestowed on those who have gone above and beyond the typically forum behavior.

If I turn out to be right, I will accept the Mark of the Gopher Hole and I will also go outside, pee all around my garage and Mark My Territory!!!

Well, I have to be careful, because the experts in the know are predicting strong possibility of severe flooding up here, and more sandbags would be needed.

I'm sure some will, mostly because of the "of course the best coaching candidate in the country is going to want to come to Minnesota delusion" that some of your posters exhibit, but most will probably think he's a good pick with solid upside. Every fan base thinks their school's job is better than most but they are usually too close to be objective. The guys on the UVA boards were convinced that Tubby would leave you guys and coach there before they hired Bennett. Interesting that some on your board think the inverse may now be true. From an outsider, neither looked likely. You never know about a guy like Marshall, does he end being Jim O'Brien or Thad Matta? But worth a shot--looks like a solid hire from Badgerland if that's who ends up being the Gopher's coach.

Right now the chances are 50/50 I have to google our new coach.

I still remember typing the letters "T-i-m B-r-e-w-s-t-e-r" and wondering what the result would be.

Why don't you jump on everyone else who made a guess and was wrong? Oh I know, you love me and I have shunned your advances.
 

You created the thread Doc Don....."Mark my word" and "its all locked up" is proclaiming not guessing.
