Mark my word

sorry, it's always been enfield. the king makers pegged him months ago, just andy arrived on the national stage prematurely. andy wants this cause his wife is tired of standing out. she wants to be somewhere where she just blends in. only place she can do that is MN. in FL she's a supermodel, in MN she'd be just another dahm sister

I would be thrilled to get Andy Enfield. First of all, I'm sure his contract would be much less than big name coaches, he only makes 160k this year. Also, its so exciting to watch his team play. They run a true offense that is just fun to watch, something we need after having Flubby. Who knows if his style translates to B1G play, but I would love giving him a shot.

Looking at the Villa list any chance Steve Lavin is a choice? I think we are dead wrong if we believe Buzz Williams, Jay Wright, Brad Stevens or Mark Few have any hope of being our next coach. We need to be realistic that we are much more likely to land a 2nd tier midwestern guy like Tony Bennett, Bryce Drew or Chris Mack. Just being realistic. We need to understand that we aren't a "destination" job for most coaches.

WSU loses to OSU by 20 Saturday and GHer's lose the mad passion for Marshall.

player development is off the charts

Don't really need a reason, just a gut feeling. He appears to be a good fit, not a rockstar, but he's a winner, and it appears his guy's play hard.

Isn't our football coach from Kansas? The stars are starting to align.

Think he would be a good hire for the Gophers. I just think this is a bad year to get Gregg Marshall.

You never know, maybe we get lucky. UCLA is gonna get somebody more polished, just a matter if he likes what he see's. At least it is not a total rebuiding project here, other than the practice facility that is!

BB Coach search is over.

Teague has Wichita State Coach locked up.

As you people know, I am not one to go out on a limb. I am this time. And if I am wrong...well, so be it. I just have a gut feeling that this is the guy that Teague has locked up. Who can offer more for a stud coach in the big picture, Twin Cities and the University of Minnesota, or Wichita and Wichita? Think about it, sports fans.

I will go out on that limb with you, I really am getting the same feeling, don't know why, don't have a good reason, just got a feeling.

What could you possibly not like about him?

He has gone to more NCAA's than Tubby at MN while he was Winthrop and Wichita State. He's been a rockstar everywhere he has gone. If you don't like Gregg Marshall as a coach of the Gophers, you're lost.

Bingo I knew there was something we could agree on Bob!

If that is True, I think that would be a great hire. He's a proven winner! I still think we might be left with Andy Enfield but would also like us to take a run at Mark Few, but its doubtful he would leave...

Marshall would be a good hire...maybe not a great hire. I would have hoped it would be someone like Buzz.

Marshall makes 900K a year but gets a 150K raise each year. It was rumored NC State offered 1.3-1.5 million a year and he turned it down. I think if we offer 2M a year he'd have a hard time saying no. I think it'd be a good hire.

If we could get him it would be the deal of the century. He may be the best coach in the country.

No thanks. He has never coached at another school. I would rather have an assistant that has learned under multiple coaches or programs. Few has fail all over him if he goes to another school.
