Defense all around was great. One play that stands out to me was Jack Lynn taking on a blocker, kept his outside shoulder free, and made a tackle at the line of scrimmage - textbook.

There was a screen pass in the 3rd quarter (I think) that Michigan had all kinds of green and Wilson came out of no where to stop him.

Was also impressed with Laster in the little bit he played.

I had to replay the play to see where the hell Wilson came from. Out of nowhere he crushed the ball carrier. I'm going to miss him next year, although Lynn appears to be learning a lot from him.

Don't forget De'Vondre Campbell.

I thought that play was a sure first down and then Wilson, like you said, came out of nowhere to make the stop.

Does anyone know why Laster got some PT in the 2nd half? Did we have an injury or was it the staff possibly rewarding him after practicing well and giving other guys rest?

John Kelly - We'd like you in Maroon & Gold!

You can really see on the Pick-6 what an amazing physical specimen Campbell is. Linebackers (or any football players) are just not supposed to be that tall. Tall, plus fats, plus strong, plus (on this play, anyway,) nice soft hands makes for a pretty impressive combination.

*Fast, obviously, not "Fats." There does not appear to be any fat on Mr. Campbell.

While Campbell still has some work to do in run support, this play demonstrates one of the reasons I think he'll play on Sundays. His length. At 6'5", with those long arms he covers a lot of ground in the flats. Combine that with his speed & athleticism, and it allows him to stay stride for stride with just about any RB or TE. The NFL is a league full of specialists, I think Campbell can be one.
