Opera and art museums are overrated. Shootin rattlers and wild hogs from a helicopter is where its at.It looks like Koi is going to have to be stuck just going to college bars and parties and hanging out with co-eds. I couldn't imagine my college experience without access to the opera or any art museums.

It's really a tragedy...It looks like Koi is going to have to be stuck just going to college bars and parties and hanging out with co-eds. I couldn't imagine my college experience without access to the opera or any art museums.
Not making this up, when this video came out, I had a guy working for me say he had no idea Weezer had been on Happy Days...dead serious.
Well said, he had a great freshman year, but his second year was not up to par. I wonder if him playing on offense and some special teams took a toll on his defensive side of the ball. He has good straight away speed, good hands and I think he plays an area of the field or zone defense well like a center fielder in baseball. His tackling this year was not up to par compared to his first year. And Kerry Brown is a much better tackler. I like it when they can keep the Minnesota kids at home, but kids want to explore their options in life. If they can get some top defensive talent in the defensive line, that would help the gophers more. You need top OL and DL players to compete at a high level on a consistent basis, plus, obviously a good QBKoi was a really good player. I appreciate the two years he was with the Gophers. I thought he had a great Freshman season. Some things fell into place for him. I thought he was a little over-hyped but he was a Gopher so I loved it. I could not believe how high he was ranked going into his sophomore season. I was a bit baffled but I kept thinking that he should be even better his 2nd season with the Gophers. Then all the talk with Koi being a 2 way player. I was not in favor of that but I certainly bought into the fact that Koi was a great athlete. Then I saw how he struggled at times on defense with his positioning, angles and tackling. I'm a basketball coach so I will not act like I know everything about football. But I do know enough to see that Koi was not performing up to his standards and his hype. I honestly thought Kerry Brown had a better season and is a much better tackler than Koi. I still like Koi. I still appreciate his time with the Gophers and I want him to succeed. I just think that him spending his last season of college football somewhere else is probably a win-win for everyone. Koi gets his money, probably a chance to play in the CFB playoffs AND the Gophers can spend his money making our team better for 2026. At the end of the day, a player can decide what they want. I respect that. But I am extremely excited for who is coming back and the players we are adding for 2026. Go Gophers!
Hanging with co-eds is cool. I married one.It looks like Koi is going to have to be stuck just going to college bars and parties and hanging out with co-eds. I couldn't imagine my college experience without access to the opera or any art museums.
Pure gold!
How about if I steal the gold?If you're paid in gold, that is still taxable, but if you bought gold with your post-tax earnings no additional taxes are due unless you sell the gold for a profit. Hope that helps.![]()
You forgot to mention an estimated work study job worth about a million a year. Life isn't too bad.It looks like Koi is going to have to be stuck just going to college bars and parties and hanging out with co-eds. I couldn't imagine my college experience without access to the opera or any art museums.
Preferably uninformed takes on taxes, and vague understanding of the laws, but strong opinions non-the-less.Yeah....ummm if you don't have info about taxes it really isn't needed in this thread![]()
Then the entire amount you make selling it is profit...How about if I steal the gold?
Can’t bring myself to care one way or another about this. Glad we won’t have to play him in all likelihood
I’m curious to see how much he got.$$$$$$$$$
I know this is 100% petty of me, but I’d prefer him never coming here vs coming here and leaving.I hope he realizes this means he's also no longer welcome in purple either
Coeds? He may like Heated Rivalry. It looks like Koi is going to have to be stuck just going to college bars and parties and hanging out with co-eds. I couldn't imagine my college experience without access to the opera or any art museums.
