Does anyone know if this is legit? Sure appears to be. Would make my son’s Christmas!

I don't know if it's legit but I'd be pretty cautious about buying something via Google form and payment with Venmo. If it's not legit you'd have no way of getting your money back.

These seem to be legit. There's a bunch of other players too.

Most agreeable this is to your question authentic thing. All that is needed from your person is money in the form of dollars corresponded to me human being. You will find the quality of discussed product to be most highly admired.
Payment should be communicated to me via electronics.
Thank you.
Again, please send the money.

Yeah, that’s the official NIL jersey. Wish they would have the real jerseys.

His mom commented on the original tweet with an email address.

Seems legit - outside of the Google form and Venmo.

20-30% to the athlete, not to bad.

Agree that it is a shame that they don't have the official jerseys on the NIL site but assume the cost would be too high to make it practical to give the player a big chunk of it.

To the Jersey link in the OP. It seems to be tied directly to Koi's mom so feesl legit from that standpoint but how they are able to do Nike jerseys like that for just $80 seems too cheap. Wonder where they are getting them sourced from because there are some alternate colors involved but the style does seem to match our current jersey very closely. I mean I guess if they sell enough of them the cost per unit could end up coming way down and I would assume most of the town of Esko will buy one and that right there is 2,000 plus people alone.

Just get a #3 jersey with no name and rock it for the next couple years. Works for Koi and Drake Lindsey at the same time, as long as neither portals out.

For what it is worth, I heard from a pretty credible source that the link is real and something his family is doing.

Wish these $80 jerseys didn’t look so generic and childish. The name and number looked small on them and something just don’t look right with the fit of the jersey itself. For those reasons, I’m out.

My Teddy Bridewaiter jersey and Adrian Pederson jersey still look great despite many years in them.

I’m sure the Peritch jersey will age similarly.

It’s just the ugly NIL one. I would buy a jersey if it was in the fashion of what is worn on field.

Gotta love the presentation...laid out on the area rug.

There are two different jersey links in this thread. The one from the family is not the NIL jersey, they look like Nike Jerseys in a similar style to what we currently wear, not exact but not far off either.

Ok, I'm not sure what I clicked initially!
Man this is tough, I want to support Koi, but these are still sorta knock-off looking.

I'm gonna hold out until the bookstore stocks them or we get a direct replica on NIL. Tho I might grab a silly Koi sweatshirt or something. Really want this kid to stick around!

Yeah and if you're going to buy knock offs, you can buy them for a lot cheaper than $80 and probably can find ones that are better looking.

Looks legit but you can get knockoffs for $28 from China that are probably nicer quality then just donate the other $52 to the NIL fund if you wanted to kick some back to the players

The U has never sold authentic jerseys for football or hockey. Not sure why - Jersey collecting is a big enough thing now where I think there would be a market, even though authentics cost around $200.
The U did hockey authentics one year, it was amazing. I think it was something where they added to the team order.

The bookstore sold them. I have the white alternate GOPHERS in diagonal (Rau, Bjukstad era) in my closet. It's pretty lol

I'd buy so many authentics! Are you listening U?!?

As far as I know, the jerseys I've gotten at the bookstore seemed like they were pretty authentic. Granted, I haven't bought a football jersey since the Kill era. But both the Kill era jersey and hockey jersey I got at bookstore seem like the real mccoy. I am totally open to being wrong on this!

For what it's worth, this is apparently Koi's family putting together an order. I did a little investigating, and mom has a link on her Facebook page charging $50 for friends and family and the link posted in the tweet is $80 for the general public. There are two positives: 1) My son is getting a jersey of his favorite player. As an 8 year old the first thing he noticed in the NIL jerseys are that they are no the Gopher's real jerseys. 2) The money is going directly to Koi's family.

I reached out to my one connection with the U who would have no reason to lie to me. He said he talked to Koi personally and the link is real and it isn't a scam. I won't fully believe it until the jersey is in my house.
