I grew up in SSP, where Carter was a town legend, and the town asshole. Money and no brains gets you that.

I still remember him as an up back punt team blocker against the Vikes--accidentally blocking a Green Bay punt with his prodigious rear end. Fitting.

I cannot believe anyone thought Seth Green was the best option at QB. If he was so good, he would have started when he transferred to the high school in Texas. I was in Allen the spring after he played there Checking out their giant stadium they have. The two people I spoke to said he struggled with the speed of the game and ended up getting beat out by a junior.
