Second commit today, was also visiting for MSU I believe
Has Burns been reporting it?Love it but feels ominous about Estrada
There’s way more factors that affect recruiting other than just who the HC is.How are we going to move to the upper echelon or at least occasionally beat them if we have second level recruits???
Answer… we’re not. PJ‘s recruiting is going backwards not forward.
He's ranked there based on 27 recruits. Nice to see now, but my guess is the class drops 10-15 spots when the dust settles.Class up to 29th in the country if everyone sticks! There is some big time talent in this group!
This class would rank 33rd based on last year's composite scores. Much can change until nsd, but it gives you a general idea of where they would end up if this class holds. He's ranked there based on 27 recruits. Nice to see now, but my guess is the class drops 10-15 spots when the dust settles.
Yep. The average rating is higher than last year so that is good. The class size impacts the composite score which was my point. I tend to look more at the average to compare. This class would rank 33rd based on last year's composite scores. Please tell me, why would a 5 star recruit want to come to MN?How are we going to move to the upper echelon or at least occasionally beat them if we have second level recruits???

More recruits - not an average ranking. It'll fall back to 40-45 I would guess. This is not a great class on paper right now, just a large one.Class up to 29th in the country if everyone sticks! There is some big time talent in this group!
Pretty comparable to all the other non helmet schools in the conference.More recruits - not an average ranking. It'll fall back to 40-45 I would guess. This is not a great class on paper right now, just a large one.
There is a handful of next level guys in this class. You are not excited for Voss, Trout, Estrada, Howie Johnson, etc?More recruits - not an average ranking. It'll fall back to 40-45 I would guess. This is not a great class on paper right now, just a large one.
They want to be able to wave at me in the stands! RTBSUMGG!!Please tell me, why would a 5 star recruit want to come to MN?
I don't think it's going backwards. Sitting top 1/2 of 18 team league isn't going backwards. Fleck is also going to continue to pound the HS recruiting trail. How are we going to move to the upper echelon or at least occasionally beat them if we have second level recruits???

Catch passes from Drake Lindsey and not be buried on Ohio St's depth chart? Simple really. Please tell me, why would a 5 star recruit want to come to MN?
Yes there are some good ones. Just saying overall it’s not a great class on paper. But I guess that depends on what you define as greatThere is a handful of next level guys in this class. You are not excited for Voss, Trout, Estrada, Howie Johnson, etc?
In average player ranking it’s way lower. But as you did reply in one of my posts after the top 5-6 they are pretty closeI don't think it's going backwards. Sitting top 1/2 of 18 team league isn't going backwards. Fleck is also going to continue to pound the HS recruiting trail.
He's going to develop players and use the portal to fill holes as needed.
When you say not great, most understand it colloquially as not good, or bad.Yes there are some good ones. Just saying overall it’s not a great class on paper. But I guess that depends on what you define as great
That's fair. My original point is as it stands it will not hold as a top 30 class in the country. I do think the portal will be more important for MN next year though, and you never know how that will shake out. When you say not great, most understand it colloquially as not good, or bad.
I would counter that it's not terrible, i.e., not bad, or pretty good, but not great.
