The continuity in Kill's staff is something that I love about it. Recently I had the thought that because of his continuity in coaching it means that none on the team has even coached on a team that has beat a better opponent than the 2013 and 2014 Nebraska Huskers. At SIU he beat Indiana in '06, at NIU he beat Purdue in '09 and Minnesota in '10. This feels like the year for him to rewrite his record books.

He gets a giant opportunity in the first game this year. I would take beating Wisconsin as his next big accomplishment though.

How about winning the Big Ten West. That'd be a big win.

I'd settle for just a sweep of the Buckeyes this year.

I see what you did there.

TCU first, Ohio St Second, then finish filling the trophy case with the Axe and BIG Championship trophy.

What is so exciting about this season is the amount of opportunities Kill to get a big win. A TCU, tOSU, or Wis win would qualify as his biggest win IMO, no matter what our record is going into the latter two of those. Add in home games against Nebraska for 3 straight and Michigan on Halloween night? I can't remember a season with more big games lined up before the season even begins!

Can't argue with any of this, but don't sleep on how important it would be to beat Iowa at Kinnick. Doing so would, IMO, definitively put us above Iowa in the division pecking order in terms of program momentum - getting us better recruiting, national exposure, bowl selection, etc. If we can only beat them in Minneapolis, folks regionally and nationally will always assume we are at the same level.

Finally beating Michigan at home will also be an incredibly sweet (and rare) treat, as would beating Nebraska for 3 straight. I really don't see us competing with OSU in Columbus, but I have a much much better feeling about TCU. And the wisconsin game is obviously the most important game on the slate - goes without saying.

Beat Michigan at home, please. Keep the Jug here for......how many years until they are our crossover opponent again?

Not what you're looking for I know.... But his biggest win was with the fans.

Iowa 2011?
