Jaylen Crocker-Johnson to MN!

6’8”. 230 lbs, now that is the size the gophers need to compete in the big ten. I am confident that Niko will fill the roster with additional pieces to put a competitive team on the floor!

What kind of defender is he?

Rebounding and defense is what I'm looking for to take a jump.

Interior defense has been lacking forever

I know people at CSU, Crocker-Johnson is getting $800k, Evans already has 2 Nil offers over a Million each. Mbemba is undecided so far.
With revenue sharing and NIL it is pretty vague what our budget will be but I'd think around $6 million. I could be wrong, but NIL last year was a projected $1.2 million. add in $4 million for revenue sharing (which could be closer to $5) and more donors with the new coach.

Evans we will definitely have to pony up to get if we want him (and I think we can and will).

For those confused by the tweet, his freshman year was at Little Rock and he transferred to CSU for last season.

Nice to see him become a 3PT threat, shooting 35% on 4 attempts per game last season.
but remember, everyone is now going to get that extra year!

Is this guy pretty much a guaranteed starter?
At $800k one would think so unless Grove beats him out. I mean 4 more guys at $800k you kinda gotta recruit different positions when you spend your wad.

I don't believe Grove has the defensive quickness to play the 4. I think he will be a 5, one that can stretch the floor on offense. What I saw of Grove, he is a bench player on a good team.

If the team has $6 million, all conjecture, you could assume $500k to $1 million per starter, so say its $750k each of the 5 starters. You would have 2.25 million for your bench?
Probably need a couple 1. One million point something’s to get a couple lead dogs.
