No doubt. Crawford is pretty bad. Need to find someone to come in and handle that position.

I don’t think we play a traditional strong safety. I expect he will compete for the big nickle/ safety spot (where Dixon played last year) but he could be in play for howden’s spot too.

Yep. My buddy played at OU in the early 2000's. The staff and the fact they had Roy Williams helped them create the box safety D. Essentially, you have a hybrid OLB/SS. Strong enough to be a LB....quick enough to be a nickelback.

I don't have a major issue with Crawford. He doesn't boom punts 50 yards but he also rarely shanks one or gives up a long return.

I’d guess he is bottom 5 in the conference for net. For a ball control team—you need more. I could be wrong. Have never looked at it.

He seems to be a good holder though
