fantastic
Name the last five kids from instate who left who had great NBA careers? Let's see Cole Aldrich,Jon Leaur,Alan Anderson. Let's see Isiah Dahlman,El amin, Jordan Taylor? So if the NBA is your reason for leaving the state it really doesn't matter does it.My take is that for Kentucky and North Carolina that is their selling point. I'm saying if you have NBA talent it doesn't matter.
I agree that playing for the U will not impact any of the Big 3's chances of making it to the NBA. If they are good enough they will make it no matter where they go to college for the year or 2 they will be in school. Bottom line it all comes down to how many "extra" benefits the top schools are offering and where the kid thinks their game will be the best fit.
College basketball is about as dirty as it comes because unlike football, 1 or 2 elite talents can win you a National Championship.
@darrenwolfson: Word has it that Richard Pitino is already recruiting hard. He spoke with, at minimum, Rashad Vaughn last night. #gophers
Go Gophers!!
i really hope people arent going to put getting tyus, vaughn, and travis as a measure of pitino's recruiting. its unfair to him imo. if he doesnt get all 3 or even 1 of them he can still be successful. its a waiting game at this point.
I guess the first talk with Vaughn went really well for both sides. They hope to get together early next week.
Are you guessing or did you see that on twitter/have a source?
Nobody is going to tell you their source, unless it's a close relative of an assistant at Cooper.SOURCE?

I do some occasional business with a close relative (not going to say who) of an assitant at Cooper. Happened to talk to him this morning and we discussed Little Dick for awhile and he said Little Dick and Rashad spoke, it went well and they will likely meet soon.
