Strib just dropped an article about crime concerns near the U campus. Thanks again.
Well...Strib just dropped an article about crime concerns near the U campus. Thanks again.
Those Badger editors strike again…Strib just dropped an article about crime concerns near the U campus. Thanks again.
I would take that is a good sign...already done dealNo national chatter on Niko.
The U was Richard's learning ground. He then went a level down, further developed as a coach, and found success at that level.50% is what I picked. Anyone that is in demand at all has to think twice before taking this job as it's been a coach killer. Look what Pitino is doing now. That should say it all.
I hope we get him, but my guess is he will have other offers. We will see...
He actually took another step up with Mashburn leaving New Mexico. Think of what they'd be if they hadn't lost Toppin. The U was Richard's learning ground. He then went a level down, further developed as a coach, and found success at that level.
You do have to learn somewhere. Nobody comes out of the womb and gets handed a clipboard. Beilein and Ryan both started coaching middle school, for pete's sake. That's where you learn to make the most of what you got, because whoever goes out, that's all you got.The U was Richard's learning ground. Maybe. Most of it I think is he just went to a place where they support him and not try to cut his legs out from under him right away. The U was Richard's learning ground. He then went a level down, further developed as a coach, and found success at that level.
Yep. Just saying that moving back to a lower level was a big impact on his development as a coach. You do have to learn somewhere. Nobody comes out of the womb and gets handed a clipboard. For sureYep. Just saying that moving back to a lower level was a big impact on his development as a coach.
He was at the U for eight years.Maybe. Most of it I think is he just went to a place where they support him and not try to cut his legs out from under him right away.
Can you give us some concrete, documented examples of how "they" cut his legs out from under him right away?Maybe. Most of it I think is he just went to a place where they support him and not try to cut his legs out from under him right away.
Reggie Lynch. Last year, Illinois player raped a girl, then was right back in there a playing in the elite 8.Can you give us some concrete, documented examples of how "they" cut his legs out from under him right away?
Coach killer? Are you basing this off us hiring two coaches with combined 1 year of head coaching experience? Did they succeed here? No, did Pitino learn lessons from his failure and grow as a coach, yes. Pitino would do much better if he was hired today. When we hired him he was not ready for this level of the job. Tubby did well here and struggled towards the end... when he had cancer. Before that, Monson had to deal with the penalties. Doesn't seem like a coach killer program to me. Seems more like malpractice and expecting different results while doing the same thing back to back.50% is what I picked. Anyone that is in demand at all has to think twice before taking this job as it's been a coach killer. Look what Pitino is doing now. That should say it all.

Yeah, if that’s what it takes to win, no thanks. Shameful post.Reggie Lynch. Last year, Illinois player raped a girl, then was right back in there a playing in the elite 8.
The same stuff that's happened at the U for years. We are better than everyone else. Yet, we never end up that way
For what it’s worth… the Illinois player your referring too was suspended by the team. He claimed his innocence and sued the team to let him play. He maintained his innocence the rest of the season and eventually went to court where he was found not guilty. He was later drafted by the wolves in the first round of the draft. Not really an apples to apples comparison in my opinion.Reggie Lynch. Last year, Illinois player raped a girl, then was right back in there a playing in the elite 8.

Yeah, I think there are more than a few people here who have difficulty saying the words "I don't know."
Maybe it is time for gastric bypass surgery.Ain’t happening my gut says. Hope I am wrong.
