pretty pathetic by the Iowa fans after the game.
With both Moore & Johnson graduating from Purdue & Iowa only losing Cole, I look forward to next year's match-up with Purdue and the rest of the Big 10. Fran is a decent recruiter and Iowa had a stud California point guard recruit at today's game - he got to see quite an environment!
Dude, lighten up. Everything about that program has been completely pathetic and dormant for years. Everyone knows that. They want to dance when they are finally thrown a bone? I say let 'em.
Agree. The only lamer and more cliche than storming the court is complaining about it. Of the things in life to complain about, storming the court after a basketball game has to come in at about 1 trillion. Who cares?
It was a great win to end the season for a program that definitely needed something to go right. If only we could have an excuse to do the same in Williams Arena. Would beating PSU qualify?

Purdue could be in trouble next year. DJ Byrd can't carry a team
Based on how much the rest of the B10 loses to graduation next year, I look for Iowa to make a big leap to at least 5th or 6th next season.

Good thing we have Robbie Hummel next year.
If he can still play...
Gophersfan75 - I don't think it is really that far fetched to think that Iowa can "jump" from 10th to at least 6th next year in the B10. Just off the top of my head, teams like PSU, Northwestern, and Illinois lose a LOT to graduation, so Hawkeyes could very well leap frog them. Therefore, yes, I will keep telling myself that
There is zero doubt in my mind that Robbie will preform at an All-B1G level next season. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if is the B1G POY next year.
