Illinois is where....

I would also like to see Austin primarily guard Paul, his length will provide a huge advantage against a point guard who loves to shoot the three. He's also quick enough to keep up with Paul .

1-2 would be easy to stomach once you look at the schedule and realize this is easily our hardest stretch of the season. It's nice that we end the season with some cupcakes, or at least as close as it gets to cupcakes in the Big Ten this year.

We have a nice stretch after Michigan as well: @NW, @WIS, NEB, IA.

Andre's quick enough to keep up with Paul, too, but I think Austin is our best at meandering around screens. Illinois loves screening for Paul.

Andre needs to stay out of foul trouble also. He's had to sit in the 2nd half the past two games because of 3 fouls.

I like how we matchup with Illinois much more than Indiana. I could realistically see us winning at Illinois and then dropping the next two against Indiana and Michigan. Of course, there is also a pretty reasonable chance we could lose all three. Honestly, I'm just going to see how these next three games go (and perhaps then some) before making any grand pronouncements of where we are at and what our potential ceiling is.

This combined with the fact that we are the best offensive rebounding team in the country could be the tipping point to put the game in our favor.

I've got Gopher basketball fever, I can't wait 24 hours, I had to get my fix online. I will be interested to see how they shoot in that cavernous concrete orb. It might be a very good thing the Gophers are such strong offensive rebounders. Go Gophers

Welcome aboard, lot of Gopher fever going around!

coming into the B1G season my goal for the gophers for the first 5games was 3-2, so 1-2 next 3games isn't a big deal for me. But at the time, I wasn't really thinking B1G championship, more of a top4 finish because of hard the conference is, but if they want to win the title, realistically they need to go 2-1, win tomorrow, and win at home against michigan(I think this is a must if we are serious about winning the B1G, must defend homecourt) A win in Indiana would be a huge plus, but I don't think its a must, when we play them at home, that will be a must
