The Gophers have had a real almost inexplicable problem preparing for and beating teams that they are favored to crush. Conversely, the Gophers have had a good run in games that were thought to be toss-ups, regardless of being favored or not. The Iowa game is in the toss up category; so, maybe we won’t come out flat, looking poorly prepared. Maybe we start from the get go with vigor, aggression and confidence, also ready to adjust quickly to unexpected wrinkles from Iowa. That would be nice.
