How will the Gophers do in the final three game?

If today's team shows up we win at least 2 of the last 3 games.

Dang the kool aid tastes good.

2-3 at best. I don't see them beating OSU. The other two I am optimistic we hang/maybe beat them. I'd be ecstatic beating WI, if that is the only win.

LETS FILL THE TROPHY CASE!

We may catch Ohio at the right time, coming down off from a big win over MSU. Perhaps we sneak out an upset of biblical proportions. After that we keep rolling. Here's to 3-0 in the next 3 weeks!

I'm ok with a Ohio State loss and wins agains NE and Becky. That would likely give us a chance for a rematch in the title game. Tough to beat the same team twice in one year. FILL THE CASE!!

FIFY. Everybody should be OK with a loss to OSU and wins at NE and Wisconsin. That fills our trophy case and means we win the West. Beating OSU would only be icing on the cake.

I suppose a measure of how much the team has progressed is that they will see 3 wins and a Big Ten Championship as a realistic goal - for me, I would settle for The Axe..

I hope to be able to buy a T-shirt with the axe, pig and jug all on it as a reminder of a fantastic season. (let's even throw in the Bell from last year). :D.

If we win 1 it will be a success story. It would be one of the bigger games in school history if we can knock off what will be a top 10 Buckeye team but that will be very, very challenging.

Wouldn't that be the sports story of the year if the Gophers end up playing tOSU twice? Nice dream.

If yesterday's team shows up we sweep the last three. I do not see beating tOSU as an upset. After yesterday, we give them a lot to worry about. Leidner will continue to improve. Let's stay injury free. BTW, I voted 2-1. Stuff happens even when you are a homer.

Our defense and special teams are better than OSUs. It is our offense where we aren't there yet. But think about that: we are better than OSU in two areas. Kill is awesome. Yesterday was very encouraging on that front and we are clearly moving in the right direction. One thing we are playing for is to be undefeated at home. We are 6-0 there and I personally think the game we are most likely to win going forward is the OSU home game. The others are on the road and Illinois showed us that we aren't the team yet which can go on the road and win consistently. If we win one of the last 3 and our bowl game we will have a better record than last year despite the much harder schedule. It's been a fun year so far, glad we are still playing for so much...

I'm sticking with my preseason thoughts... A win @ WI. The other two.......

Spoofin if we are only going to get one more win this season thats the one I want.... and would consider the season a success. Obviously

Not sure I would say we are better then them in two phases but I would definitely say we are close to equal at the very least which is still an accomplishment. On offense though we are not in the same league as OSU right now. I voted 1-2 because while I think there is a chance we get one of those final 3 but I also think there are some pretty big factors working against us and it will take an effort on par with or better than yesterday to win any of them. Right now I think our best shot is against the Badgers which would be sweet because of a full trophy case.

And when is the last time they played at 11? They may be sleepy. ;)

I'd be more confident if we had NU or UW at home. It really is a brutal stretch. Gut says 0-3, heart says we'll take one from UW.

8-4. 5-3. Jug, Pig, Axe. Yeah, that would be a success. Tough to top really. I think we do it.

All three would be so sweet. I've been working in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area and yesterday at work checking the score was fabulous. I'm so greedy, I want them all. Gimme 'em all. (Worked in North Dakota when they lost, South Dakota when they lost. Hope they pound everyone in their path. Go Gophers!)

If Minnesota beats Nebraska and Wisconsin, we win the division regardless of the outcome for the OSU game.

Same here. I went with the heart and picked 1-2 with the W being the Axe.

I'll take a win at Nebraska to make the last game of the year meaningful. I doubt that has happened in my lifetime.

I actually think the WI game is our best shot at a win of the last three.

FYI, cheer for Wisconsin next weekend. As much as it pains you, we want Nebraska to feel like their division title hopes are over when we go to Lincoln.

We have trouble on the road…believe it or not, I think we might have the best chance with OSU at home. I think we'll be big underdogs in all of them. But I still trust our defense and special teams over OSUs….so if our offense holds on to the ball, allows the special teams to punt it far enough to pin them back…and plays as well as last week…we will have a shot.

I kind of agree with this, kind of in a very hopeful manner, it's going to be cold and I look at the Michigan St.and Wisconsin games last year and hope the Ohio State game will be similar with an even stronger Defense and Special Teams.

We will have a shot? If we didn't, why play the damned game?

Wins over Nebraska and Wisconsin...we can save the Ohio State win for the Big Ten Championship.
