How many games does Claeys have to win, & enthusiasm for the program

9-10 Wins Means (Pre-Season):

Must Wins: Oregon St, Indiana St, Colorado St, @Maryland, Rutgers, @Illionis, Purdue
Best Option: @Penn State, Northwestern, @Wisconsin
Upsets: Iowa, @Nebraska

I see Minnesota being a slight home favorite against Northwestern (Win #8). This has to be our year with Wisconsin (Win #9), I see them being absolutely destroyed by the November 26th game with this year's schedule. Their Homecoming isn't until November 12th if that's any indication of their schedule. Penn State is our best chance to get to #10, I think we beat them at home but tough to do on the road in Happy Valley.
Assuming Iowa doesn't find a way to lose they will be favorites when they come to Minnesota (I always assume we'll beat Iowa, so let's call that the other option at #10). Nebraska is going to be a brutal game to play at night in November, that would be a wonderful upset.

You do know we play Penn St the 4th game of the season and Wisc in the last game...just trying to follow your assignment of win #s. AVG high temp in Lincoln on Nov. 12 is almost 60, AVG low is 33.

9-10 is the expectation he has set for this year. To build enthusiasm for the program he need to meet or beat the expectation he has stated. He has to back up his talk with wins on the field and I think he will.

So is that what you think he needs win to keep his job?
