I barely listen to the Current anymore partly due to Prince overload. It's a bit much but I never was a huge fan.

If you haven't seen the movie, Young Adult, you will get a very heavy dose of Teenage Fanclub. Most used song I've ever seen in a movie.
 

Diablo Cody/Charlize Theron movies have a way of doing that. In Tully it was Pavement.

Both films I would put in the "good" but "not great" category.
 

People talk about The Lemonheads on tOTB as if they're The Beatles. Or Prince.

I'll have to give Tully another try. I don't remember any of it, but I know I saw it.
 



I won't argue it's better, but I enjoy the Gear Daddies version of Little Red Corvette far more than the guy who wrote it.

Yes, though it's a tough call as I think it's my favorite Prince song.

I can certainly pivot and bring up Jason Isbell more often and start it off by saying he's best americana triple threat right now as a singer/songwriter/musician.
