I LOVE the numbers on the helmets personally.

Now that gold is back in the jersey rotation, I cannot wait for the gold/white jersey combo!

No matter the helmet option, I think this look with the new template will be awesome! And if not, I will make a bunch of people angry. Win-win

The white pants look a little weird to me with the maroon jersey. Don't know why.

I like them a lot - I would choose a diff, more bulky font if I could.
Overall, I think Gopher uniforms are routinely crisp and good looking.

That may be my least favorite combo.

Adding some stripes on the pants would help. Otherwise it looks like they are playing in long johns underwear.

according to my notes, the W/M/W combo was worn once before during the Fleck era - so sometime between 2017 and now. my list is not broken down by games and seasons. maybe someone else has a more detailed listing?

Pictures from the game are sparse, but the Gophers wore the same WMW combo with a number on one side of the helmet in the 2013 Texas Bowl vs Syracuse

I don't think it matters a lot, but I could see a situation where a player is 50/50 between Minnesota and another school and Minnesota having "cooler" uniforms being the thing that pushes them towards Minnesota. Any advantage, even if its very small, helps.

We almost always have really cool uniforms.
I just don't think it matters all that much if at all. I mean, kids still go to Wisconsin.

Fleck has gone on record saying current players and recruits love it when they change up their uniforms combinations or wear alternates every once in a while. I can't imagine all of these schools are doing it to purposely cause a negative reaction. We all can probably blame Oregon for this.

Back to my original point, I just like the fact that the program is putting effort into it. Honoring past teams/looks is a good thing. I also love the fact I can choose so many different combinations on the NCAA football game.

Minnesota continues to be the most underrated uniform school out there, always love their unis

If recruits like all the different combos, that is really what counts these days. Personally, I like to turn on the channel and instantly know who I’m watching by their uniforms. But that’s just me, and I’m old, now you kids stay off my lawn!
