When is the last time Rodney Williams had a stellar game? There is your key IMHO. Rodney has for him, an " A" game ( 15 points, 6 boards, focused on defense) the Gophers will beat Florida.

Nebraska at home I think was his last great game.
 

If we play like we did last night with the same intensity, I like us to win! Florida is a good team, but I do like our chances! Would be awesome to get the W!

Florida's man to man is 5 times as good as what UCLA showed yesterday

Florida's guards can really guard man to man. Both Hollins will have to play as good, if not better than, they played against UCLA to keep us in this game. Young is one of the few guys in college who is probably stronger than Trevor. Youngs post game is pretty limited. I agree a key matchup will be Rodney on Murphy. Rodney has to give us more than 4pt and 3 reb if we are to pull this upset. We cannot play the zone exclusively against this team as they are a great 3pt shooting team and its from multiple players. There is a reason Florida is opening as 8.5 pt favorites. But they definitely are beatable.

Correct. Sorry, not optimistic but hoping to be wrong. We needed a lot of help from a team that looked confused and impotent without its full complement of scorers. Some of that can be credited to gophs, quite a bit was unforced.
