Hole Poll: What 2014 Gophers Recruit Are You Most Excited About?

Can I choose them all? Excited for all these young men to become Gophers!!

It's gotta be Jones right?

He's the highest rated recruit we've had in forever. We've been recruiting him since M. Gray was a SO. He's local.

This should be, titled. Outside of Jeff Jones, what 2014 Gophers Recruit Are You Most Excited About

It really is unfair to only get one vote. I really like this Gopher class and happy they want to join us at the U!

It had to be Jeff Jones. So much potential with this kid. I hope he is eligible and is a stud here for 3 or 4 years.

I said Jones as he has that "Difference Maker" type talent. Melvin Holland Jr is a VERY close second as he can see PT right away as well.

I consider Jeff a 5 star. No doubt kind of player....no question.

I agree 100%. You gotta be excited about a local star staying home but Holland could be a solid contributor next year! Can't help but be pumped for August 28!

I am excited to see Gary Moore. I have always been partial to DTs that can be disruptive.

None of the above. Steve Richardson is, to me, the most intriguing. 37 tackles for loss and 17 sacks as a senior. He's only 5'11", but has had some freakish numbers. Can't wait to see if he gets any playing time this year. Always love those players that out perform their measurables.

I chose Krizancic. His senior year highlights look Manziel like. The U needs someone to step up at QB; I hope he gets a shot.

Agree completely. Holland should have an impact immediately.

Jeff Jones no question. Homegrown prospect with the potential to be the next name-brand back (think Redmon, Hamner, Barber, Maroney) and could be the best of all of them! I know that's some serious hyperbole, but damnit I'm excited to see him play.

I really like Isaiah Gentry. Big, smooth, and great hands. Played at Moeller. That is big time. There might be receivers who are quicker, or faster, but this kid has vertical and the best hands.

Melvin Holland Jr., I love that Jones committed but I think Holland ends up being the better player.

I eliminated Jeff Jones from contention because it's too easy for him to win my vote; I'm from Minneapolis, so I'm naturally biased.

In a close race I have to pick Elmore. I believe that others will likely show more on the field, but that Elmore is the type of influence that makes everyone else better because of his presence. I think he'll set the standard, then push his teammates past it.

Did you see the awesome outfit Rodney Smith wore to signing day? He gets my vote for that outfit. A close second is Conner Mayes whose tweets show so much gopher pride that I just want him to be as successful as his resume predicts he will be.

I am excited for Julian Kafo. He has great size and he's already a mature 20 year old. I think the recruiters found a diamond in Quebec!

Is there a picture of the outfit?

I'd say McKinzie... QB is always going to be the most critical position in any offence. It seems like he has all the tools to thrive in our system and take our QB play to another level.
