Agree with that take. One of the most impressive things that has come from Fleck's first 2 years is the lack of penalties called against us. In 2017 we led the nation in fewest penalties and last year we were 5th.

Robb Smith was great for reducing defensive penalties. He coached the players to be so far out of position that they couldn't reach a receiver to interfere with or a face mask to grasp.

Sarcasm aside, eliminating self inflicted wounds goes a long way. Kudos for what we've done in the past two years in that department, hopefully the trend continues.
