Has anyone heard who are open Non-conference Opponent may be for 2016 season

Schedule complainers like to complain. Another subject to bitch about. The schedule is the schedule. A whole thread of "discussion" in which we have no say or control. Sigh.

With the exception of discussions about maroon outs/gold outs and taking our hats off and standing for the national anthem, virtually every thread is about something we have no say or control over.

Badgers have a bye on 10/8 in 2016. I don't think anyone will be bitching about the Badgers schedule next year.

Big10 crossover games against Michigan State, OSU and Michigan. Also a non conference game with LSU. Hope they take there lumps with that schedule.

Sorry, I thought this was a place to discuss the Gophers football program, past, present and the future. It was just something I noticed and thought it was very odd. It isn't that we have an early bye next year. It's that we have an early bye every year in the near future.

I'm sorry that you feel discussing these kind of things is bitching. Maybe I overreacted. Just found it crazy that only we don't have a bye in the middle of the conference schedule in the next 4-5 years.

Right, because they pretty much have our schedule from this year and last...finally. It was awful nice not having to play any good teams from the east those first couple years in the new alignment, wasn't it?

It all evens out. The Gophers just need to take advantage of the "easier" schedule like wisconsin and Iowa have.
