Guesses for uniforms vs Purdue

Can you do a gold collar on 51 but leave the numbers white? Curious how that looks.

This is where I would lean. I don't like the white collar, but I like the white numbers. The plain gold numbers are kinda bland IMO.

I agree, and I think a gold collar on 18 would also look a lot different.

Edit: If they are going to use white sleeves, gloves, shoes, turnicate thingies on ther legs, then maybe white numbers aren't as bad as I originally thought. Thankful for the comparison either way though.

Best thing to happen today was that the cheerleaders finally wore white uniforms!!! Much better look than the full maroon they usually wear.

I wonder if the combo-haters are happy. They got to see a “traditional” uniform with the maroon helmet-gold M/maroon jersey/gold pants; but, unfortunately they also got to see how the Gophers of yesteryear played while wearing that “traditional” combo.
