He goes from the #3 to #15 ranked CA HS program per maxpreps. MD loses 2x 5*, 4X 4*, and 5x 3* players, among others. MH loses 1x 3 start player. Also came off a serious injury this year. I think a little context helps here.

I’m skeptical about this recruitment too but the staff has been doing well on QBs lately. Let’s just see how his senior year plays out

Mater Dei has more Heisman trophies than the University of Minnesota. Him having to transfer out to get more starting time is nothing against him and more towards the fact that there’s probably a guy ahead of him who will play for a blue blood.

The only thing worse than the transfer portal in college fb is the transfer portal for California hs football. All the kids are doing it these days.
