Gophers open as a 3 point dog

If we beat Nebraska, leaving them at 3-5 (they have played two more games than
the Gophers), Frost & Co. have low chance of making a bowl. They might beat Purdue and even the Badgers, but where does the sixth win come from? This is an important game for the Gophers. But because Nebraska has played 7 games already (to our 5) and has only banked 3 wins, this game looks to be THE make or break game for Nebraska’s 2021 season. Go Gophers!
Keeping Frost to five wins (or less) this year, is the dream.

Trev will give him one more year. If you don't believe me, see this: 'It's going to happen': Scott Frost and Nebraska are keeping the faith

Predicted money continuing to come in on Nebby, is happening. MGM, Caesar’s, and Draftkings all have Huskers at -4.5 now.

Agreed. It's a must win for what? We aren't winning the West unless we beat Iowa AND they lose another game which seems unlikely. Bowl eligibility? Hopefully we can take care of IL, NW, MD.
That’s not true. Gophers control own destiny

Apologies if someone already posted this info. Here's Nebraska's schedule going forward:

@ Minnesota

PURDUE

OHIO STATE

@ Wisconsin

Ouch, babe!
Honestly, it's a catch 22 for us. We tend to get easier and less sexy cross overs (pretty sure it's just a B1G TV revenue consideration). It means we have lower bar for 6 wins than Nebraska or OSU. But man, they have a lot more intriguing games than we do. Maryland, OSU, and Indiana isn't nearly as fun as OSU, MSU, and Michigan for crossover games.

Gophers and Indiana on the ML for me tomorrow. Home teams with 2 weeks to prepare as underdogs, playing against teams they handily beat on the road with most of the same guys as last year.

Since 2015 Gophs have played OSU, Michigan, and Penn State each three times.

You're going to win a ton of money with picking Nebraska.
Interesting Nebraska is 5-2 ATS this year. Gophers looked good for 3 quarters this year with Ibrahim. Turns out Colorado sucks balls this year.

The schedules are made by a computer with the designated rivalry games the only consideration.
The TV viewing numbers for any game do not increase or decrease the BIG TV revenue.
The BTN revenue is completely determined by the number of people who have the BTN APP or channel and that is determined by your streaming, cable or satellite provider.
MN has a very easy schedule this year.

My guess is he'll claim he 'cleaned up' overall, despite double face-planting the Nebraska-Minnesota bet.

Can we request Vegas make us a 3-4 point dog in every game for the rest of the year?

IIRC, 2019 is similarly like 2021 with the BGSU loss the exception. We eked out wins that should have been loses. That is what a good team does. PJ Fleck is probably saying, "What was I thinking?" That decision to go for it on 4th down in their end of the field handed the game over to BGSU.

You can't take anyone for granted especially in B1G play as Iowa found out today. It's all about how well teams match up LOL Iowa! 😄
