Did Kill say during post game interview that Alex Keith didn't play because he broke his hand in pregame warm ups?
If you woulda told me Leidner would throw for 300 yards and we still would lose by 23 I never would have believed it. I missed the 1st half of the game but saw most of the 3rd and all of the 4th quarter but seemed like we struggled to stop the run again out of spread formations. Why does Limegrover refuse to quit rolling Leidner out to his left? He has always struggled rolling that way and never looked comfortable. The rollouts to the left are something that should have been taken out of the gameplan with Leidner after seeing him try to do it a couple times instead Limegrover calls it over and over again.
F excuses.
Where did I make an excuse? It's been a bad year, nothing has gone right.
Sorry not intended towards you at all. I'm just beyond disgusted that this program is taking a step back in year 5. I never saw this coming and the fact that Kill can't find qb in 5 years is ridiculous .
Losing Keith in warm ups hurts but he isn't that much of an impact player to begin with and not the reason the DLine was handled with ease today.
Can we get a Russell Wilson-type transfer next year? Can we pay for one? LOL
Why did we take the redshirt off Croft if he's not going to play?
Agree. I have really supported Kill through the beginning of this season, despite his mismanagement of the QB situation over the years. But they way he has handled Croft this year has me really pissed. I don't even want to watch anymore.
I really hope that these posters are not blaming the loss today on Leidner. If so......hang their names on the hall of shame for being complete idiots.
If we were healthy it would have been a different game, guaranteed. Our program is building and growing in the right direction. Their program is not.

Yeah, really disappointed in the coaches after this one. We tried to make this game into a passing contest and we got our asses handed to us. So much for Kill's "that's not who we are" quote.

Right! Keith doesn't even start, nice excuse Jerry. Dline has struggled this year, been on the field too much.
Jerry Kill needs to answer this question. Someone needs to ask it. Not saying Croft was going to come in and win it for us but if you pulled the redshirt, why not play him in the fourth quarter of this game?
Should have been in the last two minutes at the very least. By that time the game was not winnable and Liedner was forcing throws and getting interceptions. No excuse to not have croft in at that point.

X2 That has been an issue year after year here. Greg White or Karon Riley someone even close to that level would help. Other than blitzing we have nothing. Richardson is the only guy we have that warrants a double team.Stop with the excuses. We have NO pass rush!!!!
Is it possible they think maybe putting him in right now is not good for his development? He may just not be ready.
No it isn't. Protection was decent and pass Img was not a problem today. If anything it would probably help his development. Running a two minute offense is something he is going to need to do what better time to practice it than today. No reason to burn the red shirt if he isn't going to get game experience.
Obvious question: how do you know these things? Oh, I know, you refuse to believe your lying eyes.
Stop with the excuses. We have NO pass rush!!!!
Pretty sure you both missed the point.
1) Today was horrible. Team was manhandled up front on both sides. Coaches made some questionable calls. Their players were better. I'm sick over it...hate losing.
2) Most of this season has been horrible...and it's painful for fans.
3) Injuries ARE a big deal. They're not just a silly "excuse." Yes, every team has some injuries. Not this many injuries. Plus, we're not OSU or Alabama who just plug in 5 star recruits. We're still building depth. It's stupid to think a program like ours can compete without most of their top talent. Missing 5 starters on D and playing a new O-Line every week will hurt any team of our caliber. It's not a lame excuse. It's a reality. Painful one, but true.
4) The program is NOT going backwards. This is a blip on the radar. Show me a program that was rebuilding and NEVER had a down year. Under Kill, we've won 8 games two years in a row. Every recruiting class has been better than the one before, and 2016 is approaching top 25 in the country. Facilities plan is passed.
I'm gonna continue drinking a lot today, because I was pumped for the game and it turned into a sh!t show.
I'm positive you missed our point

Your point was that Keith isn't a big contributor so it wasn't a big deal, right?
The point everyone else was making is that we had a player break a hand in the warm ups and that pretty much represents how the day went. Nothing went right. I don't think it had much to do with how good or bad Keith is.
