Please post all Nebraska game rants here. We may leave some post-game threads on their own if they aren't just ranting.

For the sixth time this season, our staff gets out-coached.

This game was over by Friday morning.

Out-schemed in almost every respect.

Jerry will have to make off-season changes that are more than cosmetic.

Learn and change.... or go down your way, coach.

We were awful today. Better hope that getting healthy changes the fortunes of this team, because right now only the Illinois game looks close. Everything else looks like a complete mismatch. We are back to 2006 or worse.

Can we get a Russell Wilson-type transfer next year? Can we pay for one? LOL

If we were healthy it would have been a different game, guaranteed. Our program is building and growing in the right direction. Their program is not.

Why did we take the redshirt off Croft if he's not going to play?

Based on what?

I am just really discouraged about where this program appears to be. So much was bad today, I don't really know where to begin. I certainly don't think you can make the argument that this is a well coached group this year. That Northwestern loss looks a lot worse today than it did two weeks ago, and it looked really bad then.

It would be great if the play action on obvious passing downs would go away, and it can take the QB roll out to his non throwing hand with it.

Why did we take the redshirt off Croft if he's not going to play?

Jerry Kill needs to answer this question. Someone needs to ask it. Not saying Croft was going to come in and win it for us but if you pulled the redshirt, why not play him in the fourth quarter of this game?

Yeah, really disappointed in the coaches after this one. We tried to make this game into a passing contest and we got our asses handed to us. So much for Kill's "that's not who we are" quote.

Defense was terrible. Offense was better than usual. Problem was we were out coached... as usual also.

Seriously, enough of the injury excuses. Did you see their injury list for their defense alone? That's part of the game. This year, barring a major surprise, is a major step backwards. Continued poor play and the recent off-field accusations will turn a lot of people away from the program.

Stop with the excuses. We have NO pass rush!!!!

Agree. I have really supported Kill through the beginning of this season, despite his mismanagement of the QB situation over the years. But they way he has handled Croft this year has me really pissed. I don't even want to watch anymore.

I don't think we had a choice when the defense couldn't stop them.

We are who we thought we are.

Sconnie paid for one...

Anywho, I have a hard time understanding why our offense opened up a bit today, to a lot
of success, but we don't dare do it for the first 5 games? Don't tell me it's to hide it from
future opposing teams. Tell me one play we ran that other teams haven't seen before? We need
to practice them and use them more in non-con games to get them to work in fine tune.

Coach Kill frustrates me, but mostly with his stubbornness....
which will either be his success, or failure.

All in all, i'm not going to call for coach's head...this team has been absolutely cursed by
bad injuries, all season, from last spring through game 1. No Duke or Lincoln to help block,
then Lauer still hurt, Campion, Christenson, Bobek, Bjorklund.
Followed by BBC, C James, D Travis, A Rogers, C Poock, S Ekpe, G Elmore, have all
been hurt, contributing to a depressing and lackluster season...

Other factors, Norwood scandal, 'players sexual harassment' scandal, practice facilities pushed
back pushed back pushed back.

It's the curse of Tom Dienhart predicting Minnesota to win the west. Now were the Iowa of 2014
and probably won't make a bowl game...

I HATE doing this, but looking toward 2016, we have a cushy non-con schedule, 'should be' 4-0,
then no Michigan, no OSU, and we get Rutgers and Maryland. We (hopefully) get Duke and Lincoln
back, along with an emerging Jeff Jones and a healthy and aggresive O-Line. I was optimistic as
anyone about this season, but in the back of my mind, I was scared to death of that schedule and
our youth on offense. Fears for next year, youth in the defensive backfield, but they're getting a lot
of experience with injuries this year..

Western Michigan 45, Ohio u 14. Ouch.

It's not time to fire Kill. But it's certainly time to stop acting like he's a savior and we're so lucky to have him. Both the program and the coach have issues. Hopefully they can fix them.

Nebraska's pass defense has been lit up by everyone this season....they are horrible against the pass. A big part of the reason for the success of our passing game today was Nebraska's horrible secondary...

Kill on KFAN postgame. Stated we were out played and out coached. No truer words have ever been spoken. Also, said...to sum it up Alex Keith doesn't play because he broke his hand in warm ups. Really?

If you woulda told me Leidner would throw for 300 yards and we still would lose by 23 I never would have believed it. I missed the 1st half of the game but saw most of the 3rd and all of the 4th quarter but seemed like we struggled to stop the run again out of spread formations. Why does Limegrover refuse to quit rolling Leidner out to his left? He has always struggled rolling that way and never looked comfortable. The rollouts to the left are something that should have been taken out of the gameplan with Leidner after seeing him try to do it a couple times instead Limegrover calls it over and over again.

It's just been that kind of year.
