Ohio State won over Northern Illinois 9-1
Michigan beat UAB 7-0
Penn State lost to Alabama 10-0
 

Based on one of the Twitter pics I saw, it looks like the ladies also have new batting helmets this year.

Looked like they were white with the block M on the front.

Not sure if I am seeing that right, but that's what it looked like.
 



Up 8-5 going into the 6th. Fiser in to pitch the 7th and puts them down in order with 2 Ks. Gophers win 8-5.

That keeping score of the game on GameTracker is kind of rough. A stream of the game would do me wonders.

Yeah, they should stream all the SPORTCO KICK OFF games and only do audio for the UNLV games but at least keep the stream running for the other games :cool:

Michigan keeps pace with the Gophers, also going 2-0. Really nice outing by a 1st year left hander, Meghan Beaubien. She threw their second game today surrendering no runs, no hits, walking one and 11 strikeouts in a 8-0 victory that went 6 innings. She also threw the 7th inning of their first game and picked up 2 strikeouts.

North Dakota State (1-1), the Gopher's opponent tomorrow morning lost an extra inning affair to UNLV. They grabbed a 2-1 lead in the 9th, but UNLV came back with 2 runs of their own in the bottom half of the inning. Bison pitcher, Sertic, struck out 15 and only gave up 1 hit which happened in the 9th. KK Liddy struck out 13 in North Dakota's first game.

Minnesota vs NDSU.... obvious reasons

Michigan vs Florida.... guessing Blanco gets the ball, but anxious to see how the freshman does against top notch competition

Nebraska vs Utah.... third ranked team the Huskers face and it's only their second day. Can use everything they have in this one since they face San Diego State in the second one

Ohio State vs Florida Atlantic.... The Owls already beat Michigan State 3-0 and I like their coach

Northwestern vs Boise State and Indiana.... The Wildcats had a real good game against Arizona yesterday until a 3 run 6th inning sealed it. They threw two pitchers in that one, with Winegamer going 5 decent innings.

Michigan loses to #2 Florida 2-0. Beaubien goes 6 innings, 4 hits, 9 strikeouts for the Wolverines.
Nebraska beats #16 Utah 5-0 as Jablonski goes 6 innings giving up 4 hits and 2 strikeouts.
