Gopher QB commit, Matt LaCosse, is keeping options open; hearing from 6 BT schools

LaCosse at crossroads: Naperville North senior quarterback Matt LaCosse (6-6, 220) is still listed as an oral commitment to Minnesota, but he is keeping his options open after the Gophers fired head coach Tim Brewster a few weeks ago.

LaCosse went with Wheaton Warrenville South QB and Illinois recruit Reilly O'Toole to the Indiana-Illinois game in Champaign two weeks ago as an unofficial visitor.

LaCosse has been staying in touch lately with Illinois, Minnesota, Purdue, Nebraska, Northwestern and Michigan State. He is expected to make at least a handful of official visits after his season is completed.
