Gopher Hockey Season Thread 25-26

Are we back after that sweep?! 〽️
We certainly showed improvement in all phases of the game over the course of both games, much to the chagrin of Bonin who magically disappears at the first sign of any Gopher positivity.

Solid weekend from the Gophers and hopefully they continue to build on it.

Any win against a shitty team hurts the slim chances of firing him and leans more into needing him to retire.

So when the Gophers win against a team they should, you still complain. If they would have lost, you would have complained. Got it ray of sunshine.
I have an aunt like this. Miserable f'ing human being. Bitches when her ice cream is cold, and then bitches when it melts. Perpetual victim. I can't believe my mom and her came from the same litter. Grandma must have gotten kicked by a horse when she was in the womb.

I'll say this...you're consistent. Nauseating, but consistent.

I'm sorry your weekend was ruined.

Watching wins is fun but I want a title and the 23 loss took a lot out of me after also attending in 14 for that shit show as well. This year for the first time in like six years there is no title hope and that is annoying.

I will agree with you on that - '23 was a kick in the nuts. 180 seconds away. I can't remember if he called a timeout or not. But he needed to get the team dialed in for what was going to be a frenzied push at the end. A couple of clears of the zone and that is a likely a different outcome. They turtled, got shelled, and it backfired. Then to start OT not having your top D pair on the ice - mind boggling.

Of course it burns in all of us. But for crying out loud, I don't need to be reminded of how much it sucked. It happened. It was awful. And it will be three years ago this spring. Can we please not relive it everyday?
