Gopher Hockey Season Thread 25-26

Today in the Dinkytown shithole files. More and more parents will not want their hockey players coming here (like Berchild). Just another near nail in the coffin along with no NIl money

The gophers would never lose to Michigan is these types of goals were allowed. Erik Portillo did this 15 times a game.

In fairness Johnasson missed the net too and it was not because it was off its moorings.

Who's ready for another terribly boring game tonight against ND

Gophers not getting a single guy on the US Selects team shows how pathetic this roster is.

The battle to not be the worst team in the B1G this year starts tonight. Can’t wait….

Laughable how much better the hockey is in the MSU PSU game. Mainly the speed

A wins a win. Take what I can get this year but was happy they played sound defensively and built it out from the back despite being short handed. Finish off the sweep against this bad ND team tomorrow

Only 1 person in the world that could somehow not be happy after a Gopher win and spin it to a negative.

Better game by the Gophers, even though it was against a weaker opponent than what we will see later on. The breakouts looked MUCH better, as did the D zone coverage. Goaltending was very solid although he wasn't tested often. Seemed to me that we were running 4 D-men for the majority of the first period (and maybe even the 2nd). Makes a huge difference. I was happy to see Whipple get his first goal in M/G. A sweep is no certainty so our guys need to be buckled up and ready to go tonight. Thought Townsend looked pretty good for being out so long. No surprise but Knuble is a stud for ND.

Good to see them get a win, especially at home. Defensive effort was good and shot total was very respectable. They still need to find a way to put more pucks in the net but they looked much better.

ND is brutal. Gophers have three 5 on 5 goals in five games.

MSU three goals so far against PSU
First round transfer from first round CHL
First round CHL from first round transfer
Second round transfer from first round transfer

Funny how that works

So when the Gophers win against a team they should, you still complain. If they would have lost, you would have complained. Got it ray of sunshine.
