Golden State Warriors/Minnesota Timberwolves

This thread is so wild...tons of comments when they're playing horribly, but after that INCREDIBLE 3rd quarter???

It helps when the team they are playing isn't really a playoff team.

No Steph changes things but I don't know if I completely believe this. They had a winning record without him this season, even pre Jimmy. How much does someone like Kuminga play if Steph is playing? Likely a lot less.

The Warriors are a great defensive team, play hard, and have a HOF coach. Nothing is ever easy in the playoffs. The Wolves have been the best clutch team by far in the playoffs so far, and will likely be the most rested of the final 4 teams. I'm not going to complain about that.

True on the defense, but if Steph is out for 1/2 the season or more, they are in the lottery IMO.

The Wolves will need to clean up the lazy passing if they are going to beat Denver/OKC. Those teams will score off the turnovers, unlike the Warriors.

the part that was a little alarming was that GS wanted to push tempo and we didn't get back numerous times. Denver loves to run and OKC can play with a ton of pace and shot the 3ball very well during the regular season.

that said, if ever a season hit a perfect storm of top teams going down or being run rough, this is it. the east looks very beatable and OKC is getting pushed by (and pushing) Denver. Ripe opportunity for hte wolves
