Golden Gophers in the NFL - 2024 Season

Faalele pulled and sprung Henry for 27 yards on 4th and inches. Former Gophers making plays on Monday night.

Tyler Nubin is leading the Giants in tackles this season with 93 so far.

The sad sacks may be out and planes flying over the stadium calling it a dumpster fire, but it's not Tyler's fault. The Giants haven't allowed over 30 points in a game this season and are dead last in scoring.

Unfortunately JMS got hurt in the game and didn't return.

I’m glad to see that Lamar-Bateman chemistry really improve. Seemed like they had a mismatch in styles or maybe Lamar wasn’t looking his way the last couple years.
Lamar has really improved as a thrower this year. Could be part of that evolution.

Announcers being very complimentary of Bateman. Glad I got him this past offseason in my fantasy dynasty league for a highly discounted rate. He's showing that first round promise again.

Bateman really seems to be coming into his own and if Flowers injury ends up being serious Bateman could play a huge role for them in the playoffs.

Faalele also doing a nice job for the Ravens.

When was the last time there were this many Gophers in the NFL? Seems like every game I watch I see someone, which is seriously at odds with history.

Bateman had had a really good year!
Back when I was playing fantasy football they always talked about year 3 being the big one for WR. I know that this is technically year 4 for Bateman but he missed most of year 2 with injuries. Awesome seeing him breaking out this year and becoming the weapon we all know he is capable of being.

Heard on yesterday’s broadcast that Rashod is 3rd in the NFL in yards per reception, which I didn’t know. That’s impressive, and a good sign that he’s developing into an impactful receiver just before his rookie deal is set to expire. I hope than means a lucrative extension for him, either in Baltimore or elsewhere.

This kind of stuff goes on a lot in the NFL with alums from various teams but glad to see BSF showing pride in his alma mater.

This will be much harder in the transfer portal era with guys moving around to a bunch of schools over the course of their college career.

Since we've had some good WR and DB play in the last few seasons I figured I'd dig up some stats to see where current players compare.
