I feel like our program really puts a premium on the aspects besides running/catching. Where as other offenses and programs may play a WR who’s only good at running streaks ours looks for players to master multiple routes, block well, give effort on secondary routes, etc.Man, this is a huge bummer and I had a feeling it was coming. Warning sign last year when he couldn't even crack that DJ/Spencer/Brockington rotation and rumors came out that he still needs another year at least. I also had a bad feeling when we weren't hearing anything about him from coaches or reporters over the last 4-5 months.
I suppose it's a good sign that we have a healthy program with real talent and depth unlike we've never had before, all credit to PJ for building this. You guys know that a few years a go, a 6'3 220 lb UGA transfer would have been slotted in as the guy right away.
I agree with you it is a good sign. I’m hoping that means that while the transfers/young guys may not be as athletic they are more consistent and proficient.
