I took it as him acknowledging it's always a battle there. VCU-Richmond is a huge rivalry. I think Richmond has often beat them there.

Good win. I like that this team has a bit of toughness, and is capable of overcoming the weaknesses we all knew were there. I now have a bit more hope that we can sneak into the dance this year, which would be a major coup in Pitino's first year.

Nice to see Malik hit some threes and play the roll I expected him to.

Not that long ago Pitino said Wally or Mav might start, I didn't believe it. They each got 7 mins last game.
