Frank Mitchell Enters Portal (UPDATE: Big Frank to St. Bonaventure)

Well, so far there aren't many good ones in the portal. It's not just that anyway. It's a good idea to have more than one on the roster. Surely watching Gopher basketball over the years should have taught you that.

Melon wakes up on wrong side of bed.

I'm pretty sure the answer is "no," but there have been more than a few players from other teams who have returned to those teams after entering the portal. For example, after Patrick Chambers was fired from PSU, about four or five players from there entered the portal but Shrewsberry was able to talk a few of them into returning.
They had 9 players enter the portal that year....and two of them stayed

Based upon everything that Asuma has said.....he wants to play for Minnesota. Hoping that doesn't change regardless of who's coaching. Believe his younger brother is also signed on to play baseball for the Gophers. So...playing close to home is clearly a draw for him. Seems to be a more common thing with some of the better outstate talent in Minnesota. Koi could have gone damn near anywhere if he had wanted, for example.
The local Mesabi Tribune interviewed Isaac, seemed to indicate he was looking forward to coming back next year

Thank you for that! There actually were six from the 2020-21 team who returned to play for Shrewsberry:

Seth Lundy
John Harrar
Sam Sessoms
Myles Dread
Caleb Dorsey
Dallion Johnson

Obviously not all of those actually entered the portal.
Myles Dread had to return, he's now vested in the PSU 401k pension plan lol. Seemed like he was there 10 years.

They would have a 403(b) plan.

And I do not have access to their vesting schedule, so I can't comment on that.

However, he would be vested in any contributions that he made to the 403(b) immediately.

True, forgot Gov entity.

...and make a free throw on occasion.

He'll always have those two he made near the end of the game to clinch the victory over Iowa though. They fouled Odukale and Frank near the end and they made them. I was watching an Iowa game thread at the time and someone posted: "Figures. 43% free throw shooter and he makes them both."

Woj tweeting this and having everyone think he’s about break some huge NBA news only for it to be about Frank Mitchell is making me laugh so much.

I enjoyed watching him play because he played with passion. I won’t forget the absurd technical foul called against him in the Washington game.

Good luck and farewell to Frank Mitchell, I think he has the potential of being a very good player in the A-10.
