Former Gopher Quincy Lewis: "Pitino and his staff won't be outworked by anyone"

per the Rochester Post Bulletin:

Now, the Gophers are bringing in a recruiting class that's getting high marks, and Pitino is becoming more of a veteran coach.

If there's one thing that Lewis feels good about, it's Pitino being in charge.

"Pitino and his staff won't be outworked by anyone," Lewis said. "And he's going to have his players prepared."

Love it. I know Quincy is a U guy but this should mean a lot to local kids. Amir....Tre

Quincy is one of my all time favorite Gophers for a number of reasons. I would enjoy a "where are they now" update.

I don't know if he's an assistant officially, but he does work with the DLS coaching staff. Huge resource in helping recruit those players.

He works for the Gopher athletic department...would he be allowed to be around the high school players?

He also appears occasionally on Timberwolves pregame shows on FSN
