Fleck said there are no excuses but reasons why the team didn’t win today. Goes on later to mention that they are playing lots of new players.

I don't like Fleck's excuses in year 9. He makes 7 million bucks, highest paid employed of the U. Every program plays new players every year. Make better choices in hires, and coach better, is that too much to ask?
A show pony? 🤔

Today's defensive game plan, effort and coaching were not elite, dare we say all of it was subpar, from the defensive coordinator on down. For once this year, please change your best.

I think a lot of you guys are forgetting that northwestern is actually kind of good. A field goal loss to them isn't a sky is falling moment. This is not bowling green. Please, everybody, relax

Hahaha.
The rationalization of some GHers is hilarious.
You're right. Quite a big leap I've made to say losing at home as a 33 pt favorite to an awful MAC team and losing as a 4.5 pt dog on the road to a mediocre big ten team aren't particularly similar. Gonna go back and check my math

The answer is not always to fire people. I can get on board with a DC but to even suggest fleck should be fired is insanity. Minnesota will have 6-6 seasons its a reality most of you dont seem to understand. The amount of talent and hype around the program he has brought far outweights the stuff we complain about. If he goes 6-6 again next year PJ still should not be fired.

I'd rather give Collins another year (which I expect we will). Harbaugh has shown a ton of growth as the season has progressed

He won't say it, but kicker makes kicks and they win that game ...

Koi, I like him and all, makes a tackle rather than just throwing his shoulder too...

This team just is very uneven. Has been all year.
The 48 yd fg imo kind of a poor coaching choice I think the EV of that kick is like a point maybe. Hard to imagine he is making that more than 33% of time. I think this is my biggest gripe with fleck is he doesn't get as aggro as he most likely should. Example of spot where I think we need to be going for it. We have a competent qb as well.

Before today’s game, our offense was ranked something like 100 in passing and 120 in rushing. Today was better, but otherwise the struggle has been real on both sides of the ball.

Yes we are saying the same thing. "Today was better" = Improvement which is my point

You should change your username to Ski-U-Mad-Bro?? Go touch some grass. We were a 4.5 pt dog playing a team that took a ranked Michigan team to the wire. I agree there were things we could've done better today and the game was winnable. Some questionable coaching decisions. However it's quite clear the offense has in fact gotten a lot better as the season has progressed.
How about the defense?

Who gets tossed under the bus first
First, Collins or harbaugh?
Are you kidding? Harbaugh ain’t great but he is OK. Collins just isn’t cut out for this level job, I believe. He might know X’s snd O’s, but he seems lacking in game strategy, situational football and basic player prep and development.

"Complimentary football" is such a stupid phrase used by people who want to sound more intelligent than they really are. Form over substance.
99% of football interviews are hot air. I don't understand why we even still do them. On-field or post.
