Whether it’s for show or not, he does a good job of staying connected to alumni.
He's 6'3...wife is short...PJ is short ..Decker’s bigger than I remember.
That stuff really happened. I would go home to visit my parents and my grandparents. In next weeks paper there would be a paragraph in the local paper mentioning us having lunch with grandma and what we had to eat. The locals really enjoyed reading about that stuff.Distantly reminds me of the old small town newspaper social stories that would report on families having dinner together.
Yep, same here. As if everyone in town didn't already know what everyone else didThat stuff really happened. I would go home to visit my parents and my grandparents. lol at the wording choice on the thread title.....Whether it’s for show or not, he does a good job of staying connected to alumni.
Interesting strategy, admire your creativity!I was forced to guard Decker in high school basketball games. My best defense was letting them get up 25 and taking him out.
Not as interesting as the police blotter, who got popped for speeding and DWI.That stuff really happened. I would go home to visit my parents and my grandparents. Ya, they all look great! Fun!Great pic, would have been fun to be their waiter/waitress and listen in on the conversation.
Go Gophers!!
You would what? Sleep with another mans wife? How respectable of youLittle liberal with term star when it comes to Jessie. For the record I would!
I'm guessing she'd turn him down anyway. You would what? Sleep with another mans wife? How respectable of you
You bet! We also had a lady from our town that would read the same type of news on the local radio station. She would just call people randomly and ask what they've been up to and if they had any "news". My mom would gladly share anything. That stuff really happened. I should start a GH Eskimo brotha threadI'm guessing she'd turn him down anyway.
Regarding the Dome, I remember a "love tap" to a Badger...I recall Decker making a ridiculously, difficult catch at the Metrodome, sorry I don't recall the game, etc.
But it was spectacular.

Decker is one of my all time favorite Gophers. I have often wondered what he could have accomplished in the current era. As it was, he was probably the biggest reason I could endure the Brewster era.
He was one of the few guys I have ever seen that could take over a game from the split out wide receiver position.
That Cal game was one of two, maybe three losses that still felt fun for me in the new stadium years and he was a one man show that day.
