Faalele Injury

This is the third sack. The only sack in which they were in a different alignment, this time a 3-4-4.

This was their typical alignment. 2 DEs, flanked by LBs. Typically rushed 2 LBs, but never knew exactly which 2 were coming. Mostly off the edge but plenty up the middle, stunts, etc.View attachment 6715
This is the TD to Bateman, and they brought 6, and just barely missed getting to Morgan. Too late!
Thanks!
Tbh, this is just a 40 front where the ends are LB sized and stand-up. That's all that is. It's a 4-2-5, but as you said really 4 of the front 6 are LB sized.

This is a traditional 3-4, three DL lined up directly over the Center and Tackles, with OLBs outside the Ends, and two middle LBs. And they have the strong safety down in the box.

This should have been an easy completion the top WR on a 5 yard hitch route. The corner is one on one with no safety help on first down, he's going to be bailing to not give up a big play. Run a hitch, make a quick throw and the Wisc D has no chance to get to the QB.

Thanks!

It's a 4-2-5 if they rush the 4 guys on the line, but sometimes they only rush three. And sometimes one (or more) of the four they rush come up the middle instead of off the edge, so it's pretty simplistic to just label it a 40 front, IMO.

Sorry for poor wording. I wasn’t saying it was a 40 front, just that the alignment of those 4 guys (2 DL, 2 OLB) on the LOS are we’re the same as if it were a 40 front (with 4 true DL).
