Evans to MN

The fact that he is coming to campus is a very good sign at least. As long as money is somewhat comparable I assume there would be a real appeal to sticking with the same head coach.
We're PG University, Greenlee, Carr, Cooper, Hawkins all went on to great NCAA tournament success after leaving us : )

What’s his batting average so far? He hit on Niko. Anything else that would add to his trustworthiness quotient?
I give Peter partial credit for calling Heide into the portal. Not sure if he called it for the Gophers or not, but I would guess not or I probably would have remembered.

So, if I’m adding correctly, he called one on the dot (Niko), has one major one still outstanding (Garcia) and a 50 % on Heide. He could still go either way here. Anything else we should know, Pete?

Grateful for the information. Even if I’m skeptical, I don’t think you are a troll. Appreciate you. 👏

I could be wrong, but I don't think he brought up Heide. That was someone else.

I think he has only predicted Garcia and Evans.

In the years 2017 - August 2022, investment in manufacturing in this country during the age of reshoring and modernization, actually showed negative investment in the US. It was not until August of 2022, the month the CHIPS Act kicked in that investment returned to positive growth. It came to a crash again in January of 2025. I wonder why?

There is an economic indicator called "abandoned projects" which the Fed tracks. The lag time between large investment announcements is usually a period of 36 months from announcement to plant opening. The number of dollars announced that never go into production should be near zero. Recently, oh, call it January 22nd, that number has begun to creep back up.
if you were so smart you probably would have put this in the right thread

It crept up because on Jan 22, Evans started feeling he wanted to be a Gopher?

So Evans announcement this week....?

My trust is so low that I want an on the ground eyewitness on the hole telling me he has seen Evans and Niko having lunch at Mannings when he gets here. Until then, I stay skeptical. It guards my heart.
Would seeing them at the buffet at deja vu suffice?
