Well he can just sue for the NIL money he wasn't able to earn while he was in college. Only fair that we pay all the old players all the money they would have gotten if they played today.

The fact that he is coming to campus is a very good sign at least. As long as money is somewhat comparable I assume there would be a real appeal to sticking with the same head coach.

My trust is so low that I want an on the ground eyewitness on the hole telling me he has seen Evans and Niko having lunch at Mannings when he gets here. Until then, I stay skeptical. It guards my heart.

No face to face contact whatsoever. If they bump into each other at a laundromat they cannot talk ball. However, recruiting over phone calls and emails ect… are allowed during the dead period. So players and coaches can talk and make deals but if kids want to see the campus and meet with coaches it has to wait a week

Yeah, dead period puts a halt to campus visits or coaches going out to see a recruit in person but things will still be going wild on the portal recruiting front.

Wonder if a dead period affects agents at all? So weird even typing that out in relation to a post about college players but they are the new reality of this pay for play landscape.

I bet nothing affects agents. They will keep agenting 24/7.

Have we landed Heide? I’d toss a bone to Peter for being right about Cam hitting the portal. I would never have guessed that. Just doesn’t happen at Purdue very often for players in the rotation. Partial credit to Pete. Full credit if he comes home.

Is there any movement on Heide beyond the Hole conjecture?
