It's ok, not great. Been to Greenville, NC a few times (where ECU is) and that place is crazy.

Why would Tim Brewster claim 113 victories as an assistant coach? Who does that? I am clearly not the only one who believe this written statement on his blog is questionable. The entire blog post is about his career but if you knew nothing about Tim Brewster and read that statement you would assume he meant head coach. I don't think my assumption is far off base.

The problem is you and I don't even know who wrote that bio. I highly doubt Brewster did it himself. Someone else probably wrote it.
 


I wish "PapaHawk" played on our site like the Gophers are going to play ECU this fall.

I think Iowa should make this their slogan. Iowa - Our college town environment is pretty good.

Clearly from all of your trolling of gopher sites, and your free time to research statements made by Tim Brewster, you are out on the pedmall quite a bit talking up hot chicks.

Like I've said before, I lived and graduated high school in Lakeville, Minnesota so I have been following gopher sports for a while. I also work significantly with student media in Iowa so I follow all of the big 10 schools as closely as I can.

Your opinion is worth even less than the average Hogeye fan, because it's obvious why they would stay home - you know, the whole thing about sh*tting where you eat and what not. But you voluntarily chose to leave civilization to attend school at Iowa, of all places. What the hell is wrong with you?

If you read that statement out of context, you might make the mistake of thinking that he was talking about his career as a head coach. Reading the entire text, it's clear that he is talking about his career as an assistant coach. Any assistant coach is going to talk about how the teams he coached for did (at least ones who coached for good teams), although I admit this was pretty much over the top.

It's just that this quote is being taken out of context.

We seem to figure if a team isn't on our schedule, we don't have to worry about them. Rog's original point is that we DO have to worry about them. East Carolina is tough. It's something we all - fans, coaches, players - need to keep in mind.
