It was on the market last fall - not sure if it sold, or what the status is?

Yes - it is still on the market.
I'm a Realtor with RE/MAX and found the listing (MLS #3834054). Currently listed for $1,992,000. It's been on the market for 381 days. He bought it in 2008 for $1,895,000 which tells me that his current asking price is high. A rough estimate would say prices in the Twin Cities have dropped 10% since 2008 and the house would sell for more like $1.7m (unless he's done updates/improvements). Of course houses in that price range are having a tough go and the average days on market is approaching 30 months for them so the fact that it hasn't sold shouldn't be shocking.
