PJ is the 2nd longest tenured coach in a league of 18 teams. Serious programs don’t tolerate accepting mediocrity - they move on. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. What you can’t have is a coach increasingly making comments / excuses on why he has it so hard. In the past couple weeks I’ve heard him say just because you want to compete with the top teams doesn’t mean you’ll compete with the top teams, it is what it is, and we compete our tails off - several times. You are getting paid like a top 30 program - recruit better players, or develop the ones you have. If you can’t do it - then you don’t get 7 million a year. And by the way, when you’re a kid on a full scholarship in the Big Ten, competing your tail off is expected. You don’t praise for that. PS - appreciate the insult keyboard tough guys…………..
