Do we have a shot at Game Day if we enter the Northwestern came at 10-0?

If we're 10-0, I will Periscope live from the game and provide national coverage on our way to 11-0...does that count?

I think the gophers have a lot better shot of beating a bad Wisconsin team than a good one. Regardless of the gopher record

I mean, that's just a given. Regardless of who it is, if the team is on a down year, the gopher's have a better chance of beating them. But the argument is more about what the preference for beating them is. Many of us would love to beat them on a good year for them, have people saying "The Gopher took that axe back by force" and not "The Badgers gave the gophers the axe"

Does it mean it will be a harder game to win, yes, but it will make the victory that much better.

After a 12 years, I would gladly take pummeling a down Wisconsin team. At this point I don't care how a win comes.

I agree, but it's a double edge sword. I always cheer for them and Iowa to lose and for a plane crash when they play each other. At this point I would take a win to start.

+1...completely agree.

Isn't that what we're doing? Edit: sorry - meant to quote someone else. Ski u Mah!

Leidner will have to absolutely smash the school record for passing in order for the Gophers to in that conversation. I believe Leidner must reach 3,500 yards for the team to be in such lofty heights.

AVG 350 yards/game in the first 10 games? I don't think so. Think most agree the home opponents don't rise to a Gameday visit regardless of team or individual performances.

Better Question: If GameDay comes here, who would actually waste their time to go stand behind them flapping their arms or holding a sign. I'd rather shove a stick in my eye. My routine won't change a bit whether or not GameDay is here and I suspect that holds true for 95% of the posters here.

Here's the thing.T.C. wouldn't say 8-10 wins if he wasn't dead solid confident. He's not that type of personality. If its good enough for coach, I 'm on the love train.

How does this relate to the topic...Gameday visit?

If you take anything that comes out of a coach's mouth at face value when he's talking to the media, I've got some swamp land to sell ya.

I'll be there with a large photo of Spoofin that says "This guy thinks being here is a waste of time." ;)

Seriously though, I think you are wrong. I think most would take in some of the festivities. It's a great way to show off the campus and football program.

I agree. There would be plenty of fans there, especially students...even if they weren't going to the game.

It's related in the fact he expects a banner year. He won't say it, but I bet he has visions of a 10 start.

Don't think it is a strong enough matchup... OSU/MSU match up is that week. There are much bigger rivalry type match ups in the PAC 12 and Big XII too. Would love for it to happen, but don't see any home games that Game Day would find worthy.

Realist. I'm amazed by some of the dreamland-like stuff I see on here.

Again, your expectations of what you will find here is the real issue.
