So far in the portal, we swapped DB Z. Bryan for Mich St. corner A. West. Both players ranked as .87.
We lost RB Ijeboi to Purdue, only rated an .85.
We lost Koi to Oregon, .96! 11th best transfer and #1 Safety.
We gained DT Chapman, DT Kaba, and DE TJ Bush, .92, .89, and .87 repectively.
We gained OT B. Warren from Tennessee, .87.
We gained WR Perry Thompson, Auburn, .90!
Last year, our biggest loss was OT, Daniels to Ohio St, .92. Those of you who didn't thing think we would be worse at tackle after losing him and Earsay to the pro's, I don't know.
Coming in last year, Rb Turner was a 9.0, expectations were high.
De Curtis, IOL Marshall, Tackle Tafai, WR Coleman all 8.9.
CB Nestor was an 8.8. WR Tracy 8.7 as was WR Loya, and TE Biber. RB Davis 8.6
It seems as though Anyone .87 and above either have great upside or have decent numbers and experience at their old schools and have a chance to be at least rotation guys or starters. I hope we can get more highly rated IOL, Safety, and TE.
Right now, I wouldnt have traded S Koi, for our top 4-5 players, if that is what his NIL $ brought us.
