Dawson Garcia returning

So a judge already looking to put an injunction on 5 years of eligibility limit.

They will have to say the limit is an undergraduate degree or something to get people to move on.

How many years might it take to get that BS or BA? Perhaps as many as 10 years if you play it right. 🤔😏

I just read the case. Seems they are considering the 5 years to play 4 limit, but not getting a 5th year.

Thus, would still be 4 years. Those years being NCAA years (JUCO not counting).

The argument wasn’t really all that good. They took a ton of liberties.

I can see ignoring one JUCO year but not two. One can make an analogy to one JUCO year being equivalent to one post-grad prep school year and the latter have not counted against eligibility.

Hello all, just thought I would pass along the credible info I have. Have heard (first hand) that Dawson will be back next year (somehow) and a deal for Medved is very firmly in place. Don’t yell at me, just letting everyone know.

I guess not

After going undrafted in the recent NBA draft, Dawson Garcia signed a free agent deal with the Detroit Pistons.

The tip PMac got wasn't a bad one, Dawson just didn't get the waiver. I like it when people forward solid, but not perfect information that they get about the program.
